Project Description:

The Randomized Trial of Parent Training in Young Children with Autism grant will involve 180 children ages 3-7 years old from 5 different sites. This grant is comparing two psychosocial treatments to decrease irritability and aggression in pre-schoolers with autism spectrum disorders. One of the treatments is parent training based on applied behavior analysis. The control condition is a psychoeducational program.
