Project Description:
This project is the first to examine the effectiveness of a health promotion program in improving health and well-being of adults with mental retardation. The purpose of the study is to determine if a 12-week exercise and training program can help adults witih mental retardation by improving their health and happiness over a two-year period. The study will also determine if a caregiver education program can increase their exercise participatioin over a two year period.
