Project Description:

The overall goal of the Building Bright Futures Early Childhood Initiative is to increase low-income families' access to high quality, comprehensive early childhood programs in Douglas and Sarpy counties in Nebraska. This project targets child-care centers and homes that serve low-income children and will assess overall quality using environmental rating scales. Child progress/outcomes will be measured using individual assessments. The evaluation will also look at the interventions being used to increase quality and measure effectiveness.
