Adolescents' Reasons for Participating in Research Study
Project Description:
The purpose of this study was to learn youth's reasons for participating in the Transition Preparation Training Program. We wanted to learn what if any ideas youth might have that could be used to recruit youth for other research studies. Data were gathered via the use of survey questionnaire. It is hoped that the findings may help health professionals better understand reasons why teens choose or not choose to participate in research studies. The information may help health care professionals to improve their ways to recruit teens for research studies.
