MCH SECCS Grant: Project Tinituhon - All Eyes on Five
Project Description:
Project Tinituhon: All Eyes on Five represents the continuation of the implementation phase for Guam's ECCS. All Eyes on Five continues the importance of the "beginning" - the first five years of a child's life, but with specific focus on how the five critical components of early childhood systems development support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of Guam's youngest assets: (1) Access to health insurance and medical homes; (2)Mental health and social emotional development; (3) Early care and education and child care; (4) Parenting education; and (5) Family support. Project Tinituhon: All Eyes on Five strengthens Guam's ECCS through the enhancement and refinement of the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of cross-agency collaboration. This early childhood comprehensive system aims to build a collaborative and coordinated infrastructure that supports ALL young children and their families and sustains developmentally appropriate environments where young children thrive physically, mentally, socially, and cognitively.
