PEPNet-West Outreach Site at UM houses the Associate Director of PEPNet-WEst. The Associate Dirctor provides oversite for the consultation, training, information, and resources to institutions 13 western states and the Pacific Island entities. Through a network of statewide, regional and national contacts, we provide information and materials from a variety of resources and professionals, rich in experience and expertise, usually free of charge to vocational rehabilitation counselors, transition specialists, educators, disability services providers, audiologists, and employers. PEPNet-West is one of Four Regional Education Centers that constitutes a nationwide network that provides outreach and technical assistance to postsecondary programs serving individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing. The four regional centers: PEPNet-Midwest, PEPNet-Northeast and PEPNet-South arefunded by the Department of Education work collaboratively and are known as the Postsecondary Education Programs Network (PEPNet).
