Project Description:
Guam CEDDERS will provide technical assistance and training to the Guam Public School System, Division of Special Education, IDEA Part B and Part C funds:
1. Provide technical support to the Division of Special Education in meeting Guam Part B and Part C annual meeting reporting requirements related to State Performance Plans (SPP) and Annual Performance Report (APR).
2. Facilitate Pre-Survey parent focus group sessions for the development of Part C and Part B survey instructions & procedures.
3. Disseminate Part C and Part B surveys to parents.
4. Facilitate post-survey parent focus group sessions to validate information from the surveys.
5. Compile and analyze parent survey results for presentation to stakeholders and incorporation into Guam's Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part B and Part C Annual Performance Reports.
6. Provide professional development services based on priorities established by the Division of Special Education.
7. Facilitate on-site technical assistance and training services that are provided by off-island consultants.
8. Manage contractual arrangements between GPSS Special Education and off-island consultants to include consultant's fees and travel expenses.
