Project Description:

The National Government of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) desires the services of Guam CEDDERS to provide on-site technical assistance and training support to meet the proprieties established by the FSM National and State Special Education Programs for improving results of children and youth with disabilities in the FSM. Guam CEDDERS will provide technical assistance through Project REAL in areas of Special Education Programs development and grant writing to each FSM state for development and implementation of Local Monitoring Systems consistent with program requirements; review and develop Local Performance Plans, State Performance Plans, and Annual Performance Reports; and provide training and other needed capacity building activities for both states and national government's program offices and units handling Special Education Programs, focusing assistance to the state and national on program development and implementation.
