Project Description:
Guam CEDDERS, as a resource site, will coordinate activities for the California State University, Northridge PEPNet West for the Pacific Basin on the needs assessment and assist in working with the P-W staff in the mainland to arrange special events. The service area coverage is Guam, CNMI, FSM, RMI, and ROP. Activities include: 1. Identify stakeholders in the PB and develop effective networks among universities, agencies, and organizations working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing within and across states in the PB. 2. Collect demographics in the PB with number of DHH and number of students in both secondary and postsecondary programs. 3. Conduct the PB needs assessment and submit a report of findings. 4. Determine best strategy to provide one week training. 5. Monthly meetings via IM with Director at CSUN. 6. Attend PEPNet 08 Conference in April.
