Ongoing training and technical assistance visits related to recommended practices in early childhood education to child care staff at child care centers in Orleans Parish. Training, technical assistance, and monthly meetings with teachers and directors. Conduct an environmental assessment using the Infant-Toddler Environmental Rating Scale (ITERS)and Early Childhood Rating Scale (ECERS) for each center. Development and implement action plans resulting from trainings, coaching and technical assistance visits, and meetings. Ongoing training on identification and utilization of developmentally appropriate practices during routine and planned play activities by teachers and the utilization of positive feedback based supervision by child care directors
