Promoting Social and Academic Success using a Multi-tier System of Supports: Kansas State-wide Positive Behavior Support
Project Description:
The proposed project entitled: ?Kansas Statewide Training in School-wide Positive Behavior Support,? will focus on the training and capacity-building activities necessary to a) support current districts and schools implementing school-wide positive behavior support (SWPBS), b) train professionals who will provide SWPBS technical assistance for the state, c) train two new district teams interested in implementing SWPBS, d) provide one SWIS Facilitator Training, and e) work collaboratively within a state-wide planning context to implement Multi-tier System of Supports (MTSS). This project will be directed by Rachel Freeman, Associate Research Professor at the University of Kansas.
