Implementing School-wide Positive Behavior Support Using a District-Wide Leadership Team Model in Three Kansas School Districts
Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to provide training and support to up to three districts in one region of Kansas interested in implementing district-wide planning processes that will result in: the identification of a district coordinator, a 3-5 year district action plan for implementing district wide behavioral support, coach and team training throughout the year to implement school-wide PBS for schools invited to participate in each district, and annual plans for each participating school describing the first year of school wide PBS implementation. Another equally important purpose of this project is to select districts that are also interested in implementing Response to Intervention at the district level.
