Project Description:
IHDI provides on-going evaluation assistance to the Kentucky Department of Education for their State Improvement Grant (SIG). The KY SIG includes 8 goals to improve services and supports for children with special needs from birth to 22 in the areas of: universal design for learning, collaborative teaching, positive behavior supports, personnel preparation program in special education, paraeducator training, secondary transition, early intervention services, and parent support. IHDI incorporates process, progress, and outcomes-based evaluation approaches to provide feedback to the KY SIG staff and its contractors.
