Project Description:

The Arkansas Cervical Cancer Report was commissioned by the Arkansas Department of Health & Human Services and the Arkansas Cervical Cancer Task Force for presentation to the 2007 Arkansas General Assembly. The report will also be available to the public on the Health Department's BreastCare website. Health professionals in the State of Arkansas were surveyed regarding their knowledge and perceptions of cervical cancer prevention, education and treatment. Gaps in treatment, particularly for disadvantaged populations, were noted and recommendations made for addressing those gaps.
