Project Description:

Nebraska was awarded $50,000 by CMS to evaluate individuals that have dual eligibility for the Medicaid Buy In program. The project's main goal is to identify the typical MBI participant, especially those with dual eligibility on the use and effectiveness of Nebraska?s MBI and Part D coverage. The project will assess impact of MBI program and Part D participation on the lives of program participants. The project will assess historical data including average earnings levels of recipients of Vocational Rehabilitation services and, average earnings levels of Section 1619(b) participants. The project will also compare Nebraska?s MBI profile to other MIG states? MBI profiles.
