Project Description:
To work on accomplishing or a shared vision where all people including those with developmental and other disabilities are fully integrated, participating members of their communities. Independence, productivity, community inclusion are key components of the vision. Sixty-one centers at least one in every state, which is positioned uniquely to facilitate flow of disability related information between communities to meet the needs of their states. Centers work with people with disabilities, members of the shared vision with different states, federal and local government agencies, community providers to provide training.
