Project Description:

From 2005 through 2009, the Measurement Workgroup of the Expert Panel will provide oversight for the development of a new measure of health status that is applicable for persons with disabilities regardless of level of functional impairment. Over the course of 5 years, the panel will provide oversight for the review of currently available measures on health status applicable for persons with disabilities (R6), provide comment to the study of performance of HRQOL questions (R7), and guidance for the development and testing of a new measure (R8). The Workgroup and/or Expert Panel member will contribute to the development of at least three peer-reviewed publications, and one new measure.
