Service Learning in Neurodiversity: Building Cultural Competence with IDD explores effective engagement with neurodiverse individuals, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Students learn the neurodiversity model, which views autism, ADHD, and other neurological differences as natural human variations. 5000 level course. Includes weekly in-person service-learning sessions and asynchronous online coursework.
