Emerging Advocates Through Youth ASAP
Product Description:
The Youth Autism Self‑Advocacy Program (ASAP) is a 10‑week small‑group curriculum for autistic youth (11–18) with IEPs/504 plans. Co‑taught by an autistic self‑advocate and a social worker, it builds self‑awareness, communication, and advocacy skills through instruction, CBT, and role‑play. Guided by an autistic advisory group, ASAP showed high satisfaction and aims to expand via a train‑the‑trainer model.
