Product Description:

Some infants are born smaller or low birthweight (LBW) • LBW is linked to later developmental/cognitive differences, but findings are mixed • Some studies show LBW = lower cognitive scores • Others show no difference between full-term, LBW, and extremely LBW babies across different types of thinking and learning • Motivation matters • Do babies and toddlers want to solve problems? • How much do they seem to enjoy solving problems? • Does their motivation and enjoyment relate to cognition
