Product Description:

This study examined perinatal depressive symptoms associated with the combination of race/ethnicity and disability status in a nationally representative sample of women who had recently given birth. Postpartum depressive symptoms were markedly more common among American Indian/Alaska Native women with disabilities and Black women with disabilities than for women with just one of those identities, suggesting compounded disparity associated with the combination of race and disability.
