Journal: A clinic model for evaluation and care coordination for toddlers suspected of having autism spectrum disorder.

Center:
Fiscal Year:
2026
Contact Information:
Product Description:
Families often wait an additional four to six months to be seen by a developmental-behavioral pediatrician. The current model was intended to avoid these time and resource intensive steps without sacrificing the quality of the evaluation process. It further intended to avoid losing patients to follow up given the existing literature that highlights significant no-show rates for follow up visits at pediatric subspecialty appointments (Fiorillo et al. Citation2018; Kalb et al. Citation2012).
