GiftedNYS; the state advocacy association for gifted students, their families, and educators. At the request of Senator Mayer, the GiftedNYS team revisited Article 90, Gifted Education, Education (EDN) Chapter 16, Title 6 to determine 3-4 recommendations for change. Reviewed the legislation within the context of limited or no funding, best practices in the field of gifted education, and small changes to the existing legislation which would have a large and equitable impact across New York.
