• Parental cultural beliefs influence how developmental differences are recognized and interpreted (Yu et al., 2020). Stigma and misconceptions can delay diagnosis and limit access to supportive resources (Shafi et al., 2024). • Current tools for autism (e.g., M-CHAT, ASQ) focus on child behavior and developmental milestones. Few instruments assess parental cultural perceptions of disability or willingness to engage in autism support (Harris et al., 2014)
