Product Description:

HCC is the "Pathway to Medicaid" for children with disabilities in Michigan. HCC is Michigan 's application of the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982 (TEFRA). TEFRA gives States a mechanism to provide children with certain physical or mental disabilities with Medicaid benefits who would otherwise not be eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits because of their parent or guardian's financial resources.
