Children and youth in foster care often experience mental health challenges. Rural settings introduce barriers for these youth in gaining access to beneficial mental health support. School personnel are positioned to help improve access to mental health services for foster care students. We explore ways school personnel can support this vulnerable population's mental health needs through various mental health supports.
