Dr. Rebecca Hines Visits Kansas UCEDD

On May 13, 2026, the University of Kansas (KU) Center on Disabilities (KUCD) welcomed Dr. Rebecca Hines, Commissioner of the Administration on Disabilities (AoD) within the Administration for Community Living (ACL), for a visit and tour of the Center. During her visit, faculty and staff from KUCD and KU's Department of Special Education had the opportunity to learn about Dr. Hines' strategic vision for AoD and the future of disability supports and services, while also sharing how their research, training, and outreach efforts are improving the lives of people with disabilities across Kansas and beyond.
