The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s Center on Disability Studies, in the College of Education, will be accepting presentation proposals for the 41st Annual Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability on Wednesday, May 27 - Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.
The 41st Pac Rim Conference will feature five strands, each addressing critical topics that impact communities through best practices, advocacy, research, and capacity building. Presentations will reflect the conference’s core values of deepening understanding of intersectionality and centering disability as part of the universal human experience. In alignment with the conference theme, Unbreakable Threads: Communities of Resilience and Continuity, proposals are especially encouraged that highlight resilience, continuity, and the strength of diverse communities.
Presentation proposal submissions are currently open and will be accepted until Nov 14, 2025 at https://go.hawaii.edu/hUr
