Congratulations to the following trainees who have been selected to serve as AUCD Emerging Leaders Community Interns for the 2025 – 2026 academic year!

Amanda Patrick, Emerging Leaders Community Intern, LEND

Amanda Patrick is master's student at Georgia State University’s Social Foundations of Education M.S. program and a Graduate Research Assistant for the GA LEND program. Her B.A. was earned at the University of Hawaiʻi, having double majored in Psychology and Sociology. She served as a Research and Project Assistant at the University of Hawaiʻi's Center on Disability Studies and is passionate about research in disability, education, and technology.

 

 

 

Dora Le, Emerging Leaders Community Intern, UCEDD

Dora Le is a Master of Public Health (MPH) student at the University of Arizona, with a concentration in Health Service Administration. She serves as a Fellow at the University of Arizona’s Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disabilities, where she focuses on bridging gaps for individuals with disabilities and refugee communities. She brings a strong foundation in biological and biomedical sciences, as well as global health, from her B.S. in Biological Sciences and B.A. in Global Health from Arizona State University.

 

 

 

Hanna Campiglia, LEND Audiology Intern

Hanna Campiglia is in her final year of her Doctorate of Audiology at Pacific University. She is completing her clinical externship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, where she is a LEND trainee with the Rose F Kennedy Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center. She currently serves as Oregon’s State Ambassador for the National Student Academy of Audiology. She is passionate about pediatric diagnostics and amplification, education, and access to hearing healthcare.
