Program Manager, MCH Engagement

AUCD, a national nonprofit organization supporting the disability community, is seeking a highly motivated, accomplished, organized, and goal-oriented Program Manager to support the MCH Engagement Team.

The Program Manager will provide technical assistance (TA) to interdisciplinary training and research programs/centers across the United States, primarily Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Other Related Disabilities (LEND) and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) training programs. The Manager will work collaboratively with the MCH Engagement Team to (1) support the development, delivery, and evaluation of training and TA provided to LEND and DBP programs, including their trainees, and (2) support the quality, efficacy, and continuity of all TA activities provided. This individual’s responsibilities also support UCEDDs (University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities) through AUCD’s contract with ACL’s Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disability Programs.

Overview of Responsibilities

  1. Plan, coordinate, and implement in-person and virtual meetings, trainings, and TA webinars.
  2. Manage learning committees and workgroups, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting meeting notes, and tracking activities and outcomes.
  3. Develop and disseminate content and resources, including newsletters, fact sheets, webpages, reports, and other publications that highlight best practices and relevant information.
  4. Maintain and update program website content to ensure information is accurate, timely, clear, and user-friendly.
  5. Collaborate with AUCD staff, network members, and external stakeholders to develop and strategically disseminate resources such as informational webinars, web content, and best practice documents.
  6. Lead and manage the annual application, recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for AUCD interns.
  7. Oversee scholarships and leadership development opportunities for trainees, including promotion, selection, and coordination.
  8. Respond to requests for information, referrals, and TA from member programs, individuals with disabilities and their family members, and other stakeholders.
  9. Support LEND and DBP site visits in collaboration with the team lead and funder, including peer consultant engagement, report preparation, and programmatic follow up with participating programs.
  10. Support the development and implementation of needs assessments, as well as activity and project evaluation strategies.
  11. Participate in priority setting, program planning, implementation, and quality improvement initiatives to strengthen program impact.
  12. Maintain organized project files, documentation, and records to ensure accurate tracking of activities and preservation of project history.

Position Requirements

Education: Master's degree in a social science, education, administration, public health, policy, or other relevant field (or equivalent professional experience).

Experience: Three (3) years of professional experience in human services, health sciences, disability, public health, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Personal or professional experience with individuals with disabilities.
  • Training or work experience in a LEND or DBP program.
  • Experience in providing technical assistance and consultation in topics related to MCH workforce development; maternal and child health; and/or clinical program management in higher education settings.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000. This position is funded by a federal cooperative agreement and contract and will be contingent upon continued funding.

This position is 100% remote.
