Exciting new opportunity for an Executive Director to oversee the Autism Center of Excellence at Children’s Specialized Hospital!
Children’s Specialized Hospital (CSH) is one of the largest volume providers of services for autistic children and teens and their families, with approximately 11,000 kids seen annually. With 15 sites throughout New Jersey, CSH provides a full array of diagnostic and therapeutic services, active professional education and training, community outreach, advocacy, and research. Along with being a clinical recruitment site for SPARK, the largest autism research study in the country, CSH is active in early developmental screening, social determinants of health, safety research and programming, among many other areas.
The Executive Director will be responsible for determining and directing the design, planning, operations, outcomes, budget, and program evaluation of the CSH Autism Center of Excellence to promote CSH as a national leader in autism-related care, research, and training.
The ideal candidate will be a recognized leader in autism-related programming and/or research with a clinical background in psychology, medicine, or a related field, who is well positioned to inform and expand our Center of Excellence.
Salary is commensurate with experience. The Executive Director will be eligible for a Rutgers University appointment as adjunct at the assistant professor level or above.
