National Leadership Innovation Summit

The National Leadership Innovation Summit is an invitation-only convening designed to provide network leaders and invited partners dedicated time and space to step outside of their individual programs and focus on shared priorities. The Summit will include a combination of "All Attendee" sessions and program-based breakout meetings, including the 2026 UCEDD Directors’ TA Institute and the 2026 Spring UCEDD Directors’ Meeting. The Summit will take place May 3-5, 2026, in Austin, Texas, with sessions beginning the afternoon of Sunday, May 3.

The Summit is designed as a working meeting. Participants will engage in full-group Leadership Innovation Sessions that focus on cross-network strategy and forward-thinking solutions, as well as smaller Breakout Sessions dedicated to targeted programmatic and leadership discussions. Attendance at the National Leadership Innovation Summit is by invitation and includes, but is not limited to, the following participants:

• UCEDD Directors and Associate Directors, plus up to three additional UCEDD staff and faculty members
• Leadership from other AUCD-affiliated programs, including LEND, IDDRC, and DBP programs
• AUCD Councils and Special Interest Group (SIG) Leadership, including Chairs, Co-Chairs, and other designated leaders
• Partners affiliated with AUCD’s funded initiatives, including those connected with projects supported by organizations such as CDC and the WITH Foundation
• Invited speakers and subject matter experts
• AUCD Board Members
