This month’s webinar will feature Dr. Suzy Stark and the Home Hazard Removal Program (HARP). This is an evidence-based fall prevention program. Her presentation will highlight collaborations with the Aging Clinical Research Consortium, including the Missouri Aging and Disability Research Network, in implementing this intervention.
Susy Stark
Dr. Susy Stark is Professor of Occupational Therapy and Neurology at Washington University’s School of Public Health. She Co-Directs the Research Education Component of the Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and the TL1 Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Clinical Research Program in the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences. Her laboratory conducts clinical trials and implementation studies of behavioral interventions to improve function and reduce falls in community-dwelling older adults. Dr. Stark has been invited to address national and international audiences and has received numerous awards including induction into the American Occupational Therapy Foundation’s Academy of Research.
