This workshop will help prepare trainees for the 2026 Disability Policy Seminar taking place from March 23 - 24, 2026, in Washington, DC, to learn how to educate policymakers in DC and at home, as well as how to connect their experience and expertise to policy.
AUCD’s Policy Team and Invited Guest Speakers will review:
- the basics of how the federal government works;
- tips for meeting with and educating policymakers; and
- how to frame policy priorities for effective impact.
