David Mervis, JD

David Mervis is a staff attorney at Project HEAL. David earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy at Brown University and a Juris Doctor at The University of Texas School of Law. After law school, he clerked for the Chief Judge of the Court of Special Appeals in Maryland (now the Appellate Court of Maryland). Following his clerkship, David worked for more than a decade at the Social Security Administration, providing advice on the agency’s programs and litigating Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) cases in federal court at the district and circuit court levels.
