Janna LaCroix is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with the Behavior Analysis Training and Support (BATS) team at University of Alaska (UAA) Center for Human Development.
Before joining the UAA team in January 2024, Janna was a Developmental Specialist contracting with Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation's Family Infant Toddler Program in Bethel, AK. Janna provided early intervention services to families and children in the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta. Prior to working in the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta, Janna was a Certified Special Education Teacher working for the Kodiak Island Borough School District, Kenai Peninsula Borough School District, and Ketchikan Gateway Borough School District. Janna also worked for the Kodiak Area Native Association's Infant Learning Program providing special instruction and early intervention services to the city of Kodiak and its six villages.
Janna has spent her career living and working in Alaska. She is active with the Alaska Association for Behavior Analysis (AKABA) serving as the Secretary Treasurer since 2022.
Janna earned her Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology, Masters of Education from UAA, Associate Degree in Criminal Justice Technology from Horry Georgetown Technical College, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Missouri State University in Biochemistry.
