Renée has a lifelong connection to the disability community, shaped by both personal experience and professional dedication. As a Project Director at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Partnership for People with Disabilities, she leads key initiatives, including Leadership for Empowerment and Abuse Prevention (LEAP), and Virginia's Center for Person Centered Practices (PCP). Her work centers on advancing accessibility, fostering self-advocacy, and strengthening safety for people with disabilities.
Renée earned her Master’s degree in Digital Sociology from VCU in May 2025, focusing her research on social trends that inform prevention strategies for at-risk communities. Above all, she treasures time with her family, which remains her greatest source of joy and inspiration.
