SIG Meeting: FASD

Tuesday, November 10, 2026

8:00 am - 8:45 am

Meeting Level: MR 4

The FASD Special Interest Group (SIG) was created in 2020 to expand knowledge of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) across the AUCD network and its partners. FASD is a term that describes a group of conditions caused by prenatal (before birth) alcohol exposure. These conditions last throughout a person’s life and can affect how they learn, manage emotions, and handle everyday tasks. Each person with FASD has their own strengths and support needs.

The SIG brings people together to share knowledge and learn from one another. By connecting across programs and communities, we can help more people understand FASD and use that understanding in their work. The experiences of people with FASD and their families are essential to these efforts.

Connect with colleagues who share an interest in FASD to exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration. This meeting welcomes current and prospective members of AUCD’s FASD Special Interest Group.
