Project RISE: UCEDD Employment Initiative
Project Description:
The UCEDD Employment Initiative under the coordination of Heidi von Ravensberg is working with a local supported employment agency to increase job opportunities for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The Center on Human Development, which houses the UCEDD, has hired an individual. This is helping with modeling and demonstrating, and with developing supports for new hires and their employers. The awareness and marketing campaign activities have moved from researching and planning to implementing.
