Project Description:
This initiative works collaboratively in the development, delivery, and evaluation of training and technical assistance programs and materials to increase the quality of early intervention supports and services for infants and toddlers with special needs in Colorado. Working in partnership with Colorado's Part C Program, Early Childhood Connections, in the Colorado Department of Education, this initiative: creates and disseminates materials to families, providers, and other stakeholders; develops a variety of educational activities; and provides technical assistance to local communities to assist them in building their capacity to provide quality early intervention supports and services. The specific areas of focus include: service coordination, Individualized Family Service Plans, Assessment, and services provided in everyday routines, activities, and places (natural environments), Part C data reporting and analysis, Family Voices training and advocacy on the funding heirarchy, ENRICH Outreach training.
