Nebraska Developmental Disabilities Council State Plan
Project Description:
The DD Council is required to complete a 5 year State Plan by August 2006. To meet this deadline, the NE UCEDD will design the methodology, hire and train primary and secondary consumers and staff to collect data and will analyze the data to be used by Council staff to determine preliminary Council priorities. By May 2006, the Council staff will write the plan, have the plan priorities discussed by the DD Council’s Planning Committee and have the full Council review and approve the plan. There will then be a 45 day period for public comment. Any changes based upon public comment will also by made by Council Staff. The plan will then be submitted to ADD. The new plan will guide Council priorities over the next 5 years.
