Raising Special Kids Evaluation

Project Description:

The Sonoran UCEDD will work with Raising Special Kids to provide formative and summative independent evaluation services to measure impact of its Parent Training and Information Center project. Work with Raising Special Kids staff to review their existing evaluation activities and develop procedures for interviewing a percentage of individuals they serve. Conduct interviews with an established number of randomly selected youth with disabilities and family members of children birth to 26 who have received services. Facilitate a community forum in a rural community to identify information and training needs and gather feedback on impact of Parent Center services. Summarize qualitative and quantitative evaluation data collected by Raising Special Kids and provide annual summative report.
