Project Description:
LEND: Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related DisabilitiesThe LEND program is an interdisciplinary long-term leadership training program that trains professionals in 13 clinical disciplines. Under the Combating Autism Act, it also specifically trains advanced level physicians, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and nurses in diagnosis and evidence based treatment of ASDs. Rochester LEND also trains medium-term trainees in ASD screening and evidence based treatment. The LEND program at Rochester is completing its 16th year, and has additional foci on health care transition and electronic systems of health care coordination.
