Project Description:
There is a need for training around positive behavior support and on school mental health identification and service for students. This need is too large to be served by the single project within the Technical Assistance center, so the modules are created to support schools and teachers across the wide geographic range of Nevada.
This is a project to create curriculum to be distributed across the state for development of skills related to positive behavior support. This curriculum is made into ADA compliant materials and offered through a Canvas Platform for wide geographic use across our state. In addition, there are courses/modules that offer advanced behavior support. We expect individuals who have contact with children and students to access the modules to build capacity to support students with a wide array of needs.
