Project Description:
TN Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics supports pediatricians and other clinicians in optimal medical care for children and their families. Emphasis is placed on supporting the "medical home". The Screening Tools and Referral Training (STaRT) program trains and provided supports to a variety of health care professionals as well as other early childhood educators and outreach professionals to promote developmental and behavioral monitoring and screening. A faculty member works with TNAAP to design, promote, and give presentations to meet these goals. The project if funded by the Department of Education, by TN Early Intervention System (TEIS) "child find" efforts.
