Project Description:
Purpose: The Unified Training System (UTS) provides a mechanism for the Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA), Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS), Bureau of Child Development Services (BCDS)/First Steps (FS) to coordinate training efforts into a comprehensive system of technical assistance to families and providers supporting eligible infants and toddlers enrolled in the First Steps system. The UTS supports statewide coordination of training opportunities related to young children, and provides greater access to learning opportunities for families and service providers. The UTS must enhance capacity at the local level, as well as utilize the expertise of the teachers, service providers, and families of children with special needs. UTS Coordination includes activities related to Fiscal Administration, Programmatic Training, Outcome Data, the Governors Interagency Coordinating Council, and Data Analysis.
