The PacWest LEND and DBP Programs developed interdisciplinary curricula about the intersection of disability with diversity, equity, and inclusion to advance knowledge, awareness, and skills necessary for LEND and DBP trainees and faculty to work with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who also identify with a diverse, under-represented group, including race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, or religious beliefs. There are nine learning modules that include a didactic from a faculty member followed by an interview with a self-advocate or family member to provide examples of lived experiences. The topics include: (1) Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); (2) Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health; (3) ASD and Deaf/Hard of Hearing; (4) Motor Disabilities; (5) Serving the Spanish-speaking ASD Community; (6) Down syndrome; (7) Autism and Transgender Health; (8) Adolescent to Adult Transition; and (9) Disability from a Cultural Perspective. In addition to the videos, discussion questions with facilitator notes are available for each module for use in LEND or DBP didactics or for individual use by trainees and faculty. The videos are captioned in English and include American Sign Language interpretation. The link for the learning modules can be requested by emailing
