Quality Education in the Last Frontier (QELF). This grant is federallyfunded through the Department of Education. The grant mission is to:improve educational services and successful outcomes for all students byproviding direct support and technical assistance, as well as facilitatingcollaboration among educational stakeholders. The QELF project advocatesfor full inclusion of students with disabilities in statewide educationreform activities by providing training, resources, and technical assistanceto school districts, parents, families, communities, and state agencies.The project will focus on improving the cooperation among stakeholders tobuild capacity within current systems and structures that will ensuresuccessful outcomes for all students.Scope of work for the Center for Human Development included an evaluation of the QELF grant. Various education stakeholders, including Educational Board Users, Special Education paraeducators, Special Education Teachers, Special Education directors, and parents were surveyed and participated in focus groups. Data collection focused on the stakholder's satisfaction with a training that was designed to increase collaboration among stakeholders and increase inclusion of students with disabilities.
