Project Description:
The Nevada Partners Leadership Program (NPLP) is an innovative national model of leadership training for people with developmental disabilities, parents and family members, designed to teach parents and self-advocates the power of advocacy and to change the way people with disabilities are supported, viewed, taught, live and work. The NPLP Training provides state-of-the-art knowledge about issues and policies related to disability, and will develop participant competencies to become better advocates, and become more effective in influencing policy development at all levels.
