Project Description:
The need is for culturally responsive disability supports. We want to develop a capacity of teachers, families, providers to support young adults with disabilities in Nepal and Maurituis in addition to a capacity of UNESCO participants on implementation of CRPP; a capacity of seniors on living independently, using UD and UDL; a capacity of trainers to use our bassic disability curriculum to train others. Most of the work is to be done in India, Nepal and Maurituis. The expected benefits include an increaswe in knowledge and application of disability law and practices, access and accommodations, UD and UDL, and additional resources.
